Rule to Live a Better Life #1

"Never allow anyone to rain on your parade and, thus, cast a pall of gloom and defeat on the entire day. Remember that no talent, no self-denial, no brains, no character are required to set up in the fault-finding business. Nothing external can have any power over you unless you permit it. Your time is too precious to be sacrificed in wasted days combating menial forces of hate, jealousy, and envy. Guard your fragile life carefully. Only God can shape a flower, but any foolish child can pull it to pieces."

---------------------------

How foolish of my to forget the first of many rules for a better lived life. $#!7 happens to everyone and I think I just got the biggest and smelliest of them all.

Last night, after a flurry of text messages, sleep has come at a slow and agonizing rate, lengthening the pain I am in.

But, now, after deciding to blog about my own throng of mantras, I shall be happy. My choice. My way. My life.

Look out world, here comes a psychopath!
